Lane was driving a 1997 Honda CB900 motorcycle southbound on College Avenue the morning of May 10.

The Coroner’s Office identified 34-year-old James Lane of Fort Collins as the motorcyclist killed at South College Avenue and Triangle Drive in Fort Collins May 10 the cause of death was ruled an accident with the manner being multiple blunt force injuries. The Larimer County Coroner’s Office also has released the identities and causes of death for two men who died in the crashes. Authorities have charged one driver with careless driving resulting in death in each of two fatal crashes that occurred in May, one in Fort Collins on May 10 and the other in Loveland on May 20.
